998 Corse Type Rearsets

  1. I have recently acquired as set of road shift corse type rearsets made/supplyed by JHP

    One of the eccentric foot pegs is badly scuffed and bent and in need of replacement, does anyone know where I can source one from..JHP haven't been any help and cant seem point me in the direction of the original manufacturer!

    These have the fixed type eccentric hanger/footpeg as one billet unlike the kirk morgan/miglior that bolt to each other.

    Would be eternally grateful if someone has a lead..or better still has one or more laying around that there willing to part with.

  2. Can you put up a photo? they sound a bit like the Italian rearsets that were (once) supplied at one point by Motorapido and others.

    Do they look like this set? which I believe were Migliore but were sold by Bungi bungi (Ducati Race Support as was) on this site some time ago.

    Yes a similar type...however, the actual foot peg and the eccentric hanger are one piece...there normaly split like in your pic.

    Will post a pic up later.

  5. There are several of these about. Some have a one piece foot peg some have two piece (better IMO).
    Assuming there're the same size, what about the chap on ebay 'gas cap dude'? I have bought spares from him.

  8. The foot pegs are removable and easily replaced with cheap chinky ones if required.

  9. I have some of the footpegs that were on a set of rearsets which i think Nelson sold to me. They are a bitsa set of various pieces from various makes, i suspect,.... and they are black.

  11. Could be persuaded. :grinning: Are you breaking any bikes at the moment, Tommy? Could always swap for something.

    Did you just want the pegs only? I will say they are slightly different design from each other and one has been well used.

    I will take some photos in a bit for you.

    Yeah I'm breaking a 998s deep sump and a 748 track bike...if there are any bits your after?

  19. Failing all the above, Having seen the photo MotoRapido might be able to help. I have a Corse type set in Silver Grey just like the peg photo you put up on my 998 and that's where they came from.
