anyone got ideas for accommodation it's ridiculously late to be sorting this sh1te but people who are supposed to be handling it have so far done nothing. tried airbnb - 1 property on island everything else seems to be gone not keen on camping all suggestions welcome

Yes heres a great suggestion, its a saying my dear old nan used 'if you want anything doing, do it yourself, as your mates will always fuck it up. If you do it and it goes wrong you've only got yourself to blame". Hope this helps.
Join a swingers site and see if any couples have a swingers party going on at tt time. You might not get sleep and you need to bring your wife. Now how desperate are you ?

when i went in 09 i had no accommodation booked, (took my sleeping bag just in case!) visited the tourist information desk at the ferry terminal and they found plenty of b&bs with vacancies on their computer. they rang a few for me and found me one 10 mins walk from the start line for £25.00 a night. get ya arse over there, you'll be fine!
