1299 Fold In Mirrors

Can 899/1199 mirrors be retro fitted??

 

I don't think so and they are MUCH longer so wouldn't work well anyway. Bar end mirrors are the only other option

Was going to start a thread on needing folding mirrors myself. Would've have thought there would be an option by now.

 

@PeteKeys - My s1000rr comes stock with folding mirrors ;-)

Although my 996s comes with fixed mirrors that you can't see anything in to be fair :tearsofjoy:

 

You could sell it and buy a 1199s ;-) wouldn't be as good bike but fold away! ;-)

Are the mirrors as wide as the handlebars then or is it that they are wing-mirror height

Nah, I just got used to pulling mirrors in when going through traffic, became habit thats all.

 

I'd like to revise this thread in hopes that there has been something by now. I, too, am trying to avoid bar end mirrors.

 

Is there no way to retrofit 1199 mirrors?
