Rideouts Or Meets In North Lincolnshire?

Discussion in 'Rideouts & Events' started by Ben Mallinson, Apr 3, 2016.

  1. Unfortunately a bit too far for an evening in the week.

  2. Sometimes when weather and work allow

  3. All is going well with the drive back home so looking like me and Mrs M may still make it tonight. Hopefully see you there chaps! ;)

Will be on 1198 with Zards

  4. Am out enjoying the sunshine on the Blade today. Might get out later for a bit depending on how the day goes. Yellow 749 I guess :)

  5. Was good to see both you and @98 SPS out at the JW tonight. Lovely bikes too!

Hope you had a good ride back.

We'll be doing Blacksmiths at Rothwell and Willingham Woods next week all being well if anyone fancies meeting up?

Could always meet up somewhere and have a ride out in Convoy if anyone's up for it too?

Hemswell or Forrest pines at the end of the A15 perhaps??

    Cheers,
    Ben.

  6. Was there on the Blade, saw a few Italians there and up at Willingham Woods.

  7. great ride out last night, nice to meet you Ben (+wife).
headed over to willy woods -good selection of bikes there as well.
met another 748 on the run over - had a quick chat with the rider at a red light - 70 years old! but he's not sure whether to give up riding it.
might head over to Cadwell Park to watch the track evening

  8. Shame we missed each other, you heading out next Wednesday?

  9. May get chance to have a ride out over the weekend, but failing that next Wednesday will be next outing for ne, then across to Moto Italia on Thursday morning for service and some other bits and pieces...

  10. I'm away with work next week but shall likely be out the Weds afterwards if weather is co-operative. I liked the Jenny Wren, it was a nice pub.

  11. Ok mate, ill be back offshore the following trip but will be out again next time home so can always organise something then...

  12. Great weather for the Jenny Wren bike night last Wednesday. Good to meet Ben & his wife, and I did see the very clean & tidy 748 but didn't make contact with the rider before you left for Willingham Woods.
I managed to "waste" most of my Saturday afternoon sitting outside Italia Moto in Lincoln talking to various folks and friends, followed by a ride over the Wolds to Willingham Woods where I was too late to get an ice cream!
Lots of chippings been laid on the Gainsborough to Market Rasen Road, the Caistor High Street and the Heath Road, but the surface does seem to be clearing quite well.

Next Meeting at the Royal Oak Snitterby is this Tuesday, the 10th May from 7pm.

  13. The chippings are a nightmare, am seriously fed up with them.

  14. Anybody heading to the Blacksmiths Arms at Rothwell on Wed 11th? might call in via Willy Woods on the way up

  15. Hoping to get out for a blast tomorrow mate... Will more than likely be blacksmiths arms then on to Willingham for us.

Has done nothing but rain all afternoon here so hoping the forecast stays true to its predictions and tomorrow night is nice!

What sort of time are you going to be at Willingham Woods / Blacksmiths? Would be good to catch up again!

  16. Drying up nicely now.
I'm heading for the Plough at South Leverton tonight.
Work permitting I should be there for just after 7.

  17. Its drying up nicely out here too :) Will be making an appearance somewhere tonight all being well... Dependant on what time Mrs M finishes. Hopefully see some of you out!

  18. First meeting at the Royal Oak at Aubourn Tuesday evening 24th May. Weather forecast is dry but cool.

  19. I'm back offshore unfortunately :( Hope the weather is kind and you have a good ride out though.

    Ben.

  20. A cool evening, but dry & sunny. 5 Ducatis at the Royal Oak at Aubourn. 2 Multis, a 900SS (belt), Tim's super bling 888 with so many goodies on it Mr R might even be tempted to pay it a compliment, and Geoff's 450 Scrambler which had us all in awe of his immaculate handiwork.
James brought his restored Benelli 504 for us to admire too.
Thanks to all for supporting this first meeting including John who came on four wheels due to his injured knee and Rick on his Harley with no acceptable excuse to offer, and Tim's mate on the BMW.
