Hello you lot. Apologies for leaving this so long, I've been busy getting shafted by a client, which would be fine if I was a male prostitute, but since I work with kids is obviously less optimal not to mention less hygienic. Anyway, just to round off this thread as I can't stand it when people ask for help then don't come back and say thank you or explain what the problem was. So, it turned out to be the PC3. Once disconnected, the bike was absolutely epic and I've since done 2 track days on it that were more fun than I've had in years. It's brilliantly powerful and really stable and made even me look like I wasn't a total spaz. Which of course- fact fans- I categorically am. My suspicion is that the PC3- and the aging battery- were the problem all along, so it's a massive relief to finally have it up and running and generally being way more brilliant than I deserve. Except that, in an act of rather wonderful karmic revenge, I now have to sell it as I have to quickly cover the costs incurred by our idiot client. Hooray for that, right? I've literally spent all my time and money on it, just for it to be ready for someone else! Woo hoo! >grindsteethangrily< >cries< Anyway, huge thanks to all of you for all of your amazing help on this. I know it went on far too long but I'm double triple grateful to you all for taking the time. You're all my favourites. Yep, even you. Despite your wandering hands. Thanks again you lot. If any of you know anyone in the market for a 1098s with 4700 miles on it and 36k of bling that's been freshly serviced then sat on and moaned about by an idiot, please just let me know. If not, it's off to eBay. >criesagain< >comforteats< >hatesself<
Sorry to hear it has to go, seems to be a spate of that recently as Ditchvisitor blinged his up then had to pass it on almost straight away. Selling any fancy bits off of it ?
Thanks dude. No, sorry. It's got to go as one as I have no time to wait for it to go a bit at a time.
You missed cake and sunshine at Brands yesterday... Glad/Sad to hear of your positive/negative update. Brilliant/Bummer. R
Bike now listed. Let the idiotic questions begin: 2007 DUCATI 1098- In excess of 36k spent, only 4731 miles total. Amazing bike. | eBay
Only one mistake mate, the line about sending it to Pro Twins. On the whole though a great write up, well done.
Typo i'm afraid. " the original owner was a Sheikh who purchased the bike new and then straight it straight to Pro Twins "
Yeah...after all, you wouldn't want it to be poorly spelled....eh? Lovely bike though, shame you need to sell it.
How on earth did they make the most fuck-tarded website in the world more dim witted? It must have literally bred with itself. In making a one word revision there I had to sign in and verify myself 9 fucking times!
Your first post on here says you just picked it up in Feb and on eBay you state you have had it 4 years?
