Me too! Mind you, I've never got the seat on Vincents. It looks like someone picked up a seat off a totally random bike and just sat it there - it doesn't look right at all....
That's the whole thing about Vincent's - they are different and quirky in a good way! If you think the seats are a bit strange don't ever try starting one? One day a Vincent will just fire into life and the next day you sometimes have to try every starting procedure you can think of? But I love them to death, always have and always will♥️
There is maybe just one item on my bucket list that could prise my beloved Vincent from me? They are mega bucks for the 1958 Tritone model which is the one I have always lusted after! One day before they stick me in the ground - maybe?
Fair enough chap - I'm not into boats myself? But a 1958 RIVA is a work of art and probably one of the most beautifully hand built and superbly engineered craft I have ever seen! - but that's just my opinion? If we all loved and lusted after the same toys it would be a very boring world?
Steve M has a lovely bike there, always loved the SP1, however in terms of utter pin ups, Dave's Vj23 (RGV 250) is stunning. I love being able to say Ive ridden what has to be the finest road going 2 stroke v twin to come out of Japan. So ahead of its time.... My 'other' one is a Thruxton. Well I say mine, it's my dad's but I ride it more than him! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
