My choke assembly (Handle bar end) finally gave up the ghost on the superlight today and fell into several bits, was already broken, i cant find one second hand but i do have one from an ST2 or 4 i think which fits but ive lost the two little tiny screws that hold it on to the clutch lever assembly, if i use the ST one the screws would need to be a few mm longer. Does anyone have any they'd sell to me or even the choke lever itself. Cheers all Si
Thanks @Desmoquattro appreciated, so near but yet so far.. Been on a night shift but couldn't resist a start up and try to sort the idle, twenty mins later the neighbour asks if I can stop as its too loud..... Reeeesult, that's the exhausts sorted then They better get used to the sound of a Duca loudy
Are they the same thread as the coffin top master cylinder reservoir screws?........If so, I have some of them.
Are you sure? I thought the brake MC cover ones were tiny enough....mine are stainless as well.......
Bolts and Machine Screws - Metric Once you have made up your mind what length, diameter, thread form, and head type you want it is pretty easy to order some bolts or screws from (for example) Westfields. They are pretty efficient.
Well......I might have what you want............I have just found a load of crosshead countersunk screws used in computer building..........some are black as well. But I can't tell if they are M2 or summat completely different......Can you tell what the thread and head diameters are from the 'holes' in your choke bit?
Hey Guys thanks for the offers of help but in the end ive ordered them and the choke/fast idle assembly from P n H, the assembly itself was only nine quid which i was amazed at and the screws were fourteen pence so i figured it was worth going down that route, just waiting for the wheels back from P n H with tyres and new bearings fitted then other than a few bits n bobs im good to go
TFFT.............I was getting really fed up with sorting through millions of weeny screws.............I'll spend the rest of today scrabbling around on the floor for the ones I dropped, so I don't end up with a puncture.
