Ooh gonna have to get some of those being a local track and all that. Never owned a bike that would pass CC.
Give Rich @ Louigi Moto a ring and ask about baffles etc. He actually instructs down there and one of the 999's on track was one that he built. I'm sure he'd be able to sort you out with any parts you need or at least advise on the best way to go about making sure it will pass.
Cool, see you at Combe I'm there again on the 25th May and 1st July... If I were you, I'd try and get up there to get it noise tested before you book a track day though, just so you're confident it will pass.
Did the Ron Haslam Race School 'Premier' course today, which personally I felt was a little expensive for what is essentially a few sighting laps of Donington. I never got to do a fast lap but I loved the circuit, my instructor was a nice chap and the sun was shining, so it wasn't all bad...
The Elite course on the Fireblades is much better than the Premier and you get a decent discount after doing the first course. It's good value if you don't have your own track bike, although otherwise I'd consider getting the instructors to help you on a nolimits trackday or similar.
I love the ghetto elbow slider Maybe a set of these are in order... WIZ Knee Sliders Official Online Shop - Elbow Sliders
Good call, ordered I have some rips that have been getting worse and had to masker it up to get on track. Need to get it repaired this week so these will be very useful.
Good stuff, looks like you'll be properly abusing them Cracking photos btw. I'm in Lincoln today for work and apparently some evening slots have come free at Cadwell tonight. Wish I'd brought the track bike with me!
It was great having the summer heat finally arrive. Saturday morning had the Cadwell freezing fog but once that had cleared at lunch time it was all good. Red flag every session whilst it was still cold though!
