thats good value - are the 1299 and 1199 lower panels the same? so this exhaust has removed the valve?
What a strange thing to say, we are not kids. By that methodology anyone on this forum who says they don't like giving blow jobs to long distance lorry drivers is lying.
1199/1299 are the same as far as I know. Early 1199 didnt have a hole to view the oil level window which was a bit of an oversight (or no sight!)
I admit it, it's an OCD thing, to me it's the beginnings of wearing a fake Tag/Omega etc... Each to their own. As Long as the chap hasn't been told the wheels are a super duper lightweight set and sold it as an up sell then all is good in the world!
Mine didnt get a warning light! I just cut cable, and pulled it out! Technically as the 1299 emissions are higher than the 959, it HAS to have side exhaust (or twins like the 959) I think the 959 was sent to get us used to the shat looks of the shotgun pipes
As far as I know the new 959 and 1299 both have 60mm pipe work and larger exhaust ports but same stud spacing. The 899 and 1199 had a smaller bore and slightly different mountings which is why you need the full system from a 1299 which are like hens teeth. Pot luck if you find a full system for sale. The cable doesn't need cutting, if you lift the small lever up with your finger the cable just lifts out. Maybe if he rode the bike with it disconnected the lights may have gone out.
there is a 959 system on ebay from USA for sale. new side panels are £400 akrapovic including side fairings is £2700. dont think it looks particularly good though
I found this - Ducati Panigale 959 Original Full Exhaust System , Mufflers | eBay Does the US model have them underslung?
