Hi to everyone and especially those that have helped by kind messages whilst in massive spinal and nerve leg pain............ so ........on Tuesday I'm having a micro dysectomy of a lower disc in The Nuffield Bristol, and the surgeon says i'll be riding before the end of the season pain free , thank you to all the messages sent, I apologise for the bad spelling that @Exige has been picking me up whilst on 59 tablets a day, but hopefully I will be back in work giving those that need my help the personal service you all deserve, That's it, just wanted to share my happiness at seeing the end of the pain that bring tears most nights, also thank you to all that have used my work during my time off, especially @comfysofa as he's been over quite regular lately I hear! my number 2 says I've been doing tyres a bit too cheap........ hey its my place and their my friends that all it needs!!!!!! Thank you . Roll on Tuesday.....
I and I'm sure many of the forum members wish you the very best of care whilst in Hospital. I also wish you a very speedy recovery but counsel you to take your time and not undo all the surgeon's good work. All the very best, Andy
Thats Great news, Good luck with everything and hope its as successful as it sounds its gonna be....that didnt really make sense but you know what i mean
Good news chap! You are deffo in the number 1 place for your op! Speedy recovery but take time to repair fully before you start pushing it
Great news! Best of luck with getting back on track with life, work and especially riding asap If @Exige was picking you up on your spelling it must have been bad...
So, youll be able to have a go on my hyper then after all....youll be buying one yet I tell thee! When are you back in work so i can have some more tyres - i feel a puncture coming on...
That's what I had as well Andy, I was crippled with sciatic pain down my left leg and my back muscles had gone into a spasm to compensate so I couldn't stand up straight, I looked like I was leaning to the right all the time, my head was directly above my right foot, not kinda spaced equally between both feet if you get me drift and I could only walk about 20 metres tops. As soon as I woke from the op, it was like someone had flicked a switch off - no pain! and I was more or less up straight again, obviously a bit tender and wobbly for a short while though. I kid you not, I could have kissed that surgeon's feet the relief was that great!!! You'll be right as rain after that, onwards and upwards!!!
Fantastic news, good luck with the operation, keep your eyes on the prize! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Went on for 2+ years after snapping my rib n fib skiing- it was a living hell and you never knew when it was gonna fire up or leave off.One day I woke up (always bad first thing in morn) and it had gone! Touch wood!!!
