So what have you done today..?

  1. Been to Riders in Bridgewater to have my 999S Mono rear subframe replaced, courtesy of Ducati GB. Ducati had sent them the wrong part (a steel one for a Biposta - which weighed about 4 times as much!) but luckily enough they had the correct one in stock, left over from the days when they raced 749's.

I think the satin black replacement item looks better than the old silver one, and my exhaust is now securely fitted

Had a brilliant ride back from Bridgewater, along the southern edge of Exmoor. Mostly dry roads, and almost empty of traffic - totally awesome! I love my 999

  2. I'm supposed to be cleaning the house, but I got sidetracked:biggrin:

Had an old Schuberth lid knocking around, nasty maroon colour it was, so decided to bling it up to match my new bike...

  3. That's nice

  4. I took my dressing off and found this underneath :) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1351015358.336561.jpg
Needless to say I am pleasantly surprised with the minimal external damage ;-)

  6. That looks tidy I wondered if you had had keyhole
    How you feeling?

  7. A bit sore and very swollen but I'm getting around okish :) Chris is clucking around like an old mother hen but I wouldn't have him any other way.

  8. Enjoy the looking after :)

  9. I have several crowns in gold, which never cracks. Some people like the "gold tooth" look, some don't - I like it a lot.

  10. Goldie? Is that you?

  16. Bet you run out of miles before you run out of rpm.

Uh, that actually made more sense inside my head. Have fun!

  17. I suspect that I will run out of balls first - the tacho goes up to 16000 - and I am told it goes BERZERK from 10

  18. Got home today and the builders working on my house have ripped the drains out. Looks like they are going to be working late to get some sort of connection working. I hope so because I'm bursting here.!!!

And worse than that........Mrs Nothingbettertodo will be home soon and if she can't powder her nose its sure to be all my fault!!

  19. Hi He11cat it's still 12 weeks off but the keyhole side of things makes life a little easier, as for having a plate, I choose to have my 2 top front teeth taken out about 18 months ago. Nothing wrong with the teeth themselves but my gums weren't holding them well and they were getting really loose, I have never looked back !!! I'm always smiling but now I can smile without wondering if people are thinking ' for god sake give the horse it's teeth back' :)))

  20. Today I dismantled and reassembled my daughter's Blackberry 9300. The trackpad needed replacing and I replaced some other parts at the same time. It was rather a fiddly, complicated job but fortunately these days there are tutorials on YouTube to learn how to do these sorts of tasks. The device works perfectly now, which is pleasing. I'm really glad it's not an Apple product.
