  1. How did you get on with Noise testing there ?
I assume you passed, but did you fit baffles ?
My 899's on standard cans, I can't see it being under 102, which I think is their static test

  3. Only just got in at 102 dB with baffles in and no flapper value giving up going to oulton as its just a pain in the arse everytime I've been

  4. Glad you mentioned the noise limit at Oulton as we're there next month and I was planning on taking the Panigale! I can't see the 1199 making 102Db even with baffles, anyone managed it? Looks like the BMW is getting it's first proper track outing.

  5. I've seen 899's there in standard pipes, and mine is probably nearer 106db at 6k rpm, so maybe they have a 'Panigale tolerance'

  6. 899 are tested at 5k at oulton

  7. Here is the response I received from MSV regarding their tracks as I was looking to do a 105db day, but am now hearing that their circuits have all been dropped to 102db. The point I'm making is while some have got out on track at MSV tracks recently I think they are in the midst of changing their rules regarding 'exemptions' previously given.

"Any Panigale that is running any system other than the standard silver can will be required to complete the noise test in the standard procedure.
Should you fail to pass the 105db static you will be unable to go on track."

No limits refunded me for my Cadwell days having spoken to MSV and been told they wouldn't be allowed to let customers out on track even with road marked exhausts with baffles in.

  12. Nice , we've got Aragon booked for September. Looks a lot of fun.

  13. It's an excellent circuit, lost of elevation with high speed and low speed corners. Loads of run off and great facilities.

It can get a little breezy but you'll enjoy it.

  18. How'd you get on?

  19. Qualified 9th on the grid. Never done a race start before which showed as went to 18th by Redgate!!! Got back up to 7th with 2 laps to go and 4 seconds gap.....into Goddards my right foot slipped off the peg went major wide = FERK! ended 9th.

Got 2 x9th, 11th and 12th......in 9th nearly all the time as couldn't start for toffee...also made silly mistakes right and the end to lose positions back down to 11th and 12th. Overall well happy from a grid of 40.

    Best lap was 1.42.8

  20. Yep but my body positioning is awful..... thats my downfall....pants body positioning. Need to get that sorted as it's affecting me lap times and will bite me in the buttocks!
