Came up with an idea for a new business this morning! It's a niche market type of thing and I've tested the market so I know it will make money.Been sorting out e mail address,website etc today so I'm all organised and ready to roll.Its 100% straight up and legal but not going to make brewsters - good thing about it is it will only involve 6/7 hours a week once it's set up and running.
Oh dear, been out to celebrate/wish good luck to one of my younger employees who has found a more exciting job and I didn't drive. Enjoyed a few beers by the time we came to pudding and decided to have cheese. Manager said because the menu was changing, port would no longer be on the menu and if I wanted a glass I could BOGOF. Seemed like a good idea until two 275ml glasses of a very good Warres arrived at the table. Pissed as a fart now and am hoping the ceiling isn't going to do a dance whilst I try and get some sleep. I know I'm going to regret this in the morning but I've had a good time tonight. Andy
At last! I finally found a new car for my son - to his very exacting specification,right down to exterior/interior colour and low mileage! To be fair he has always had £1500/2000 diesels that someone else has had the best out of? But he's got a very good job,maximum no claims and clean licence! (Nothing like his old dad!!!) It's last of the BMW Z4 3.0 Sport coupes and before you say Gaylord or hairdressers car - drive one? I've had some proper quick cars in my 42 years of driving and car dealing,but this thing is a weapon! It's a library pic but identical car cos he doesn't want his number plate shown!
Yesterday after grafting all day I get home to SWMBO booking yet another holiday with the girl next door! And on the eve of her going on one today with another girlfriend! That'll be five holidays she'll have had by September, to my two Life's just isn't fair
It was pointed out to me this morning (after I had mentioned all her holidays) that I....... 1. went snowboarding with the lads in Jan 2. am going away for a week with her in June 3. am going on my annual pilgramage on the bike to Jockland in July, with a bunch of lads 4. am going away for a week to Spain on the bike in Sept to meet up with her 5. am going away for another long weekend on the bike in the UK in Sept, with a friend. 6. am talking more and more frequently about getting a new bike Should have kept my mouth shut
Mrs Mervyn informed me that it is our 33rd wedding anniversary today.To rub salt in to the wound I have been given presents and a card.She is delighted to have got one over me.I now have to build up some more brownie points to keep in reserve for my next fo par.
Might sound weird but went out on my skates.... Did about 3 miles.... At 47 years old I was quite pleased with myself.. Definitely get more looks doing 30mph on a pair of skates than I ever would on a bike... Spent most of my school, teenage and post teenage life in skate parks so it's like riding a bike to me...
Great fun comfysofa.I used to do a lot of roller skating,and then moved on to ice skating,mainly speed skating.
