Has anyone else accepted their invite to snetterton on the 20th? Had an email of Ducati earlier. Doubt my bike will pass the noise test but looking forward to spanking the 1299 for a few laps
Going there on Monday with 899. Told it will pass the drive by so I'll take that email in case of any issues....
Have you got standard cans? I've got termi's, just had to dig out the baffles. Hoping if it fails they'll give me an extra session on one of theirs.
I've accepted mine also coming up from Essex. They said I would receive an email with more details but not received anything yet
Not being funny but if the circuit say 'no' an email from Ducati aint going to be a lot of help, not with every circuit being linked to the local council noise monitoring department. And going by previous first hand experiences the noise bloke at Snett is a jobsworth of the highest order but he may have left/been replaced/hospitalised by an irrate trackday rider. Besides Snet really does have a problem with noise, constant complaints from juggernaut drivers passing the circuit and people in the industrial units across the road.
I rode a great BMW club track day yesterday and enjoyed the whole day with no black flag. That said a friend on his 749 with termi fitted did get attended-to due to noise on circuit. My lovely 899 short shifted i.e. Get to 6th ASAP on the straights didn't get any attention, apart from chasing RR's. Hey I could have been next on the list but we all know that.. Oh, I met a lovely gentleman of 68 years old riding a 1299 Panni, full respect my friend.
I should be there about 7 but bringing bike in the van. Come say hi I've got a white transit custom covered in wall and floor tiling graphics and a red pani
Sound pal I'm sure I'll bump into you at some point. I'm on the pm stint. Bad news is all the road ridding slots are gone so could of had a lie in. Good news is my 899 with termi's passed the noise test at 102 db. With baffles. F**k you msv
Interested to hear how this works as I've booked a hotel near Silverstone next week to be there early, like you I'm on track in the afternoon. Do you have to get there early and reserve slots for road demo rides, or is it done by responding to the email you received prior to the event? Apparently, so I've been told on here, the Silverstone attendees will be sent an email on Monday. Very much want to get out on the road on a Multistrada after the awful test ride experience at Riders of Cardiff. Thanks and hope you've all had a great day.
