The only problem with Bobs blogs is that they don't relate to the 749/999 The delay thing is a worry with HID. There is a mod you can do to the 999 though that involves joining two wires in the left hand light switch. The result of it is that when you switch to main beam, the dipped beam stays on. This might go a long way towards solving that problem, although it wouldn't help with headlight flashing, of course. Its interesting that your experience of LED bulbs is so different from Bobs. He found that there was a lot of light produced but no focused beam, even though it was a projector type headlamp. However, you are saying that an LED bulb in your main beam works really well. I wonder why your experiences are so different?
