I've got "half" of a 999S as an ornament/project in my room, but decided i've gotta go 748/916 route. Anyone willing to trade bits to make this a reality?
What have you got? I have a 749 that may like some 999s goodies. Engine? Ohlins? Steering damper? All would be considered.
@Sev @bluey Thought I said what bits I have. I really need to proof read before I post. Don't have any posh bits unfortunately. Got a 999s frame, early version swing arm, Sachs shock, 848 forks, wiring loom/speedo/ecu, brake/clutch master cylinders, full fairing (mono seat, both sides, nose, tank and mirrors), headlights and speedo/headlights holder/bracket doobry, rad with fans and standard exhaust. Got all the keys and paper work history, but paper work doesn't really mean anything as there's no engine for it to back it up? I got this for a 1098 project as finding 748/916 parts (at a decent price) was taking too long. But I keep looking at the 999 and end up thinking "you're not a 748/916"... Not looking for a straight swap piece for piece wise. Just want to either trade what I have for 748/916 that I don't have or a financial contribution to make project 748/1098 come alive. Or get closer to alive at least.
Well if you do sell parts I need the front plastic part of the Mono seat in red. I have the rear piece and I have the seat, it is the piece in between that I need.
I would be interested in the 999s frame with V5 , 848 wiring loom/ speedo/ break/clutch master cylinder and rad ,keys and paper work

Thought the frame would be the hardest part to sell, so didn't think of a price for that. Got a full fairing (mono seat) in red (early version, so vent things on the nose), petrol tank/pump, brake/clutch levers/master cylinder things, full(ish) electrics (loom, clocks, ecu, headlights, ignition barrel), early swing arm, Showa rear shock, standard exhaust system and coolant radiator. For a full 999 it's basically missing engine, wheels, forks, front/rear brakes, rear sub-frame, rear sets and oil cooler. Couple of other parts to add to both lists, but brain is pulling a blank on thinking right now. Only other stuff I can think of right now is a pair of 848 Showa forks.

@Cream_Revenge Fairings, tank and swingarm are very good/excellent condition. Maybe a few marks from use, but nothing enough I can think of to highlight apart from one of the side fairings is missing the locating tab for the headlight. As with anything, no idea on price. I'd base that on sold prices on ebay. If there are any?
