As above, does anyone have definite figures for noise testing with Termi end cans and stock baffles fitted? I know there's a bunch of discussins around this at the moment but I'm trying to get some solid figures fore recent tests at Oulton, Snetterton and Brands Hatch?
@Mushio might be your man. I know he had his 1199 tested at Mallory and passed their strict noise tests. Pretty sure he's running Termi's too. The issue with MSV circuits though is that I think they're actually instructed to only allow Pani's with standard cans on, they're even given images of the exhausts so they can confirm they're standard. I know this was the case for someone at Brands anyway...
Thanks guys, I'll give Mush a message as well. Has anyone been measured recently at Oulton, Snetterton or Brands Hatch?
Passed on Monday at 105'on standard cans , was a Ducati day though so would have been a bit much if it failed
Guy who was on an 1199 with a standard system at brands with me blew 107db's and they initially failed him. He protested at race control and they allowed him to run as it was a standard system.
Thank god the Pantigirdle has this exhaust system, I was really worried that since the demise of the 'where shall I put my tax disc' I would have to endure countless threads about what tyre to fit on Hypers, DVT's and any other bike. But now all is well.
Yo Guys. Yep had my 1199 tested at Mallory with and without the baffles before I booked a trackday there. Was well under with both. Then on the trackday it did 101 db. Had it tested at Rockingham as well and it did 98db. Bike has Termis fitted. Now my 1299 has standard exhausts fitted at 'the moment', and it sounds like 10 times louder than the 1199. Loads of difference !!! The engine also makes more noise on the 12. My buddy takes his 1199 round Oulton and has no probs, But on the same day , a 1299 got black flagged for noise.
