Just Joined In Surrey - And I Have A 848

  1. Just joined up after reading lots of very good and interesting posts. My question concerns rear ride height on my 2009 848.. Quite simply does anyone have a drawing or template to make a ride height measuring tool.. Don't expect it be free, just rather not spend £80 odd pounds for a piece of sheet metal!!

    If someone tries to arrange for you to go to "Box Hill" to meet up then don't bother. The place doesn't really exist and it's just a prank to try and catch newbies out :)

  9. This unfortunately is true.I waited there 2 days for Chris and the boys when I joined, they never showed however I met a very nice Harley rider and have just entered into a "civil" partnership.So every cloud......

  11. I was told there were a lot of highly polished rims down at Box Hill. When I turned up, I realised they meant brown ones. UNCLEAN, UNCLEAN! [emoji15][emoji15]

  13. It was a straight swap for the adjustable one on the 1098. I think a lot were probably upgraded (mine was, and I totally forgot it wasn't standard by the time I sold it!).
