1199 1199 1299 Or 959 What To Go With?

  1. Had the bike over a month now went for the 1299 absolutely love it amazing machine, blippers used up and down a lot is great, keep playing about with the settings to allow for some wheelie action etc used mostly in sport on the road with the throttle/power response changed to as in race mode, look forward to getting some track days in and potentially meeting a few of you
     
  2. If I can find the right 1199s I'm going to sell my 899, want more power!
     
  3. I'm pretty sure it was jhs but anyway a tuning company put a 899 and a 959 on the dyno and found that Ducati's figures for power increases were not entirely true. If I remember correctly the new bike was actually down on power in areas of interest
     
  4. It was JHS Dyno yes, and done by fast bikes, it's on YouTube. It was struggling in the low range but got stronger at the top end only. They said it had more potential for sure but like any euro 4 bike, out the box it's limited.

    The 959 with light pipes and maybe a custom map to make the most of the extra 50cc in the midrange would be my perfect road bike. Would perhaps feel a bit more like the 848 evo did but with more top end

  5. Ducati Stoke have 1199S in wanted to see it over the weekend but they are closed piss poor I think
