899 Stealth Laptimer

  1. Hi guys,
somebody here who already has mounted a stealth laptimer on his Panigale? I have one ordered and now i am searching for ideas for the optimal fixing point and method. I thought about the steering damper or fork bridge. Some other ideas?
    Thanks

  2. I've had a few of these on various track bikes.
I usually mount it across the top of the upper triple clamp, between the tops of the fork legs.
Somewhere where you can see the little red light flashing to let you know you are on a personal best.
And of course, the best position to capture the evidence on your go-pro:)

  3. Thanks, seems to be the best option, go-pro i don't own, at least in time
    Ciao

  4. I run one on my ZX6R over the speedo, but on an 899, I reckon the top of the fork yokes would be perfect. You've a big flat area that'd take it well and it'd still be pretty visible

  5. Thanks, seems to be the best option in my opinion too!
    Ciao

They're really quite small too, much smaller than they look in the brochure pics, so really easy to mount unobtrusively

  7. Looks nice, i am already curious about the item!
    Ciao
