Good Evening all, I'm Dave (no really, it is!) from S.W. Scotland. Been lurking on here for a couple of weeks, whilst waiting for deliver of my 2007 749s. It finally arrived today, and I am smitten! I've ridden Kawasakis for the last 15 years, the last two on a kx450f, which tried to put me in hospital every time I took it out, so it had to go! Always loved the 749s looks, and recently enquired about one or two, but they were always sold before I phoned up. I knew I wanted a late model, and it had to have the adjustability of the 's', being quite a tall chap. The bike in question that I eventually bought, was actually discussed in the 'eBay bikes' section a couple of weeks ago. It is the cat D one, which as far as I can make out was just fairing damage, which was replaced with a second hand fairing, the rest of the bike is mint, and covered just 8500 miles, serviced every year on the nose, with 2 long term owners. Should I? No, I don't. Most of my ride outs have been with friends who have since given up bikes, so most of the time, I just go out on my jack jones. Thanks all for the warm welcome!
