Thought I would put some pics of the Teutonic beast following our last minute trip to Scotland instead of France due to the French strikes and fuel shortages over the Bank Holiday.
Stayed in a lovely 2 bed cottage near Crianlarich and did the daytrips to Uig on Isle of Skye, Inverness via Loch Ness and Oban, 1600 miles in total including the trip there and back. Fantastic roads, great weather and lots of haggis. Started the day off at the Green Welly for breakfast then out on the roads. Must admit some of those roads are nirvana and lots of friendly bikers too. No Nessie though!
was out myself this week end done part of the 500 and yip lot and lots of bikers. slept in so only manadged 300odd.
Spoke to a couple of the guys on the Kilt Ride at the Green Welly at the end of the day and one of them recommended the North 500 so will have to look at that next year.
