  1. Greetings earthlings.Joe from Northern Ireland here.Recently acquired a 2000 Ducati ST4.Its up on the lift getting the once over before going on the road.I have another bike so no hurry.Happiest down in the man cave(shed) cobbling away at the bikes.
Probably just check its roadworthy and change the oil and filter for now.Do the valves and belts over the winter.

Not much to see,Ducati has the fairings off and the mancave is a tin shed.
My other bike is a VFR800 vtec model but I have changed the vtec engine for an earlier VFR800 geardriven cam engine.Owned a lot of VFR'S over the years.
Have to confess that when looking at the Ducati's frame I was wondering if a VFR750 engine would fit.
This is my second Ducati, owned a wee 750SS IE a few years back and regretted selling it,most of my riding is now two up so the ST should suit better.

  11. "Tin Shed... tin shed. Oh we used to dream of tin shed's when i were a lad..." :) Actually man cave looks pretty cool over there, especially with a lift in it! Over here it's not tin but ply with the classic asbestos roof sheets. Be interested to know how you get on with the ST. I've been checking out ebay looking at prices recently. My better half doesn't really ride anymore and am thinking of how to get a decent "two up" machine.
