Hi all. I'm new to the site, just signed up to ogle the pictures and daydream about buying a bike that I know I definitely shouldn't. Bit of background: I got my A2 license just over 2 years ago (hoping to bite the bullet and get the full A soon), I currently ride an SV650 and the smart part of me knows I should stick with it until I have a bit more experience (the rest of me is busy getting insurance quote for bikes I can't afford).
I just paid under £90 for a 1098S Streetfighter fully comp @ £10K value and £240 for fully comp on my Exige but like most on here, I'm old :Bored:ead:
90 is pretty damned good, ( is that for road use or garage princess only ? ), i am @ 200 for the 749 and same for the HD,, but i am young :smiley: ( under 70 !! )
It really is. Even for an old, relatively cheap Ducati I'd still be looking at over £600 for comprehensive commuting (with an excess over a grand). I'd be tempted to go for third party if Manchester wasn't so full of questionable characters.
