So what have you done today..?

  1. Well done you.

  2. I know exactly how you got on.I had this procedure done a couple of months ago,not for the first time.I was booked in as normal to have it carried out under sedation. At the last minute they said I could not have the sedation, just the throat spray.I explained to them this would not be a good idea in my case-due to my auto immune system problems. They insisted on doing it-I should have walked out,but I didn't.Never, ever again. What torture, and I was not at all well for weeks following.Mainly waking up in the middle of the night re living the gagging and not being able to breathe associated with the procedure.

  5. I had exactly that dream last night! Laying on sofa now feeling like I've been gargling with barbed wire and the entire cast of riverdance were dancing on my chest all nite? As you put it "Never Again!"

  6. Well... I'm hoping mine should be a bit less painless.... They now use a centrifuge.... The idea is they take it from one arm.... Spin out the blood and get the plasma and platelets skimmed off and put it back in the other arm... That's the plan anyway... Awaiting nurse now for the 3rd stabbing!

  11. I shall be earning triple Browny points later when I make a special Greek Dessert for Mrs Mervyns lunch party tomorrow. The first of many parties for the 90th birthday of my Mother in Law.
She is still as bright as a button but a little deaf and suffering from age related macular degeneration.

  12. Behaved like a big kid. After 15 years, the sole on Carole's Daytona Lady Star has started to part company from the upper. IMO there is no better boot for a petite woman, so I had a chat with a friend in the trade and got a pair at a really good price. The boots arrived yesterday and as Carole was on an observed ride today, I unpacked them and set them up with her kit to look like her old boots and waited to see when she realised they were new. I had a really silly grin on my face when it dawned on her. Who said romance is dead ? :D. Andy

  14. Got her a new race fairing and stainless race exhaust from GF Racing for her NC29 400RR as well but then she is crewing for me at Silverstone on Thursday instead of riding so I thought that was the best way to say thank you. Andy
