It's a lovely bike Matey, just too dear for me to buy. I've just laid out 13.5k on a new FJR AE so the wife would kill me, perhaps if you still have it in six months time....
Na Desmo, she's really good about it, just got an ST3, as she likes riding pillion on the STs as much as my FJR.
A pic of said ST3... Put on the Corbin seat off our ST2 as the wife doesn't like the "squishiness" of the OEM seat. A Sargent is on the way. It's completely different to ride than the red un too but more of that another time.
Just got myself an ST3s/ABS to add to the swelling ST collection. Bike's a minter and IMHO is probably the ultimate ST. So this means my swelling collection has to be curtailed. My 2004 ST3 is now for sale, please pm if you're interested.

I too love my ST4S, given the choice to ride my 998 or ST the ST wins most times, the 998 is like riding a scalpel, but the ST is the one to go the distance, but the 998 is the Mistress. My little Mito is a joy too!
My current steed... 2002 ST4s I have had for say 10 years... and just starting to pretty her up again with a few mods and bits and bobs... Still waiting on parts to arrive... but you can follow along here
