  3. @Steve m / @Jordan - any news on your orders? Waiting for mine to be shipped still. Really looking forward to it.

  4. I waited 6 days for mine to be shipped from the time I paid for it via eBay, seems they don't carry them in stock
Mine is scheduled to be delivered befote this coming Wednesday (15th June )
Looking forward to fitting it!! Also bought an exhaust for my Honda Sp1, it's a month for exhausts !!
    I'll keep the thread updated
    Steve

  5. One is enough for me. Don't think the wife's bank account could handle two.
    She'd have a coronary! :)

  6. How easy to fit for a complete spanner monkey?

    • Funny Funny x 1
  7. Really easy. You can do it all with the bike on the centre stand a few allen keys and a couple of sockets.

Mine took just over 30 mins.

  9. Still waiting for them to ship mine.
I tell my kids off for being impatient- God knows where they get it from. :)

Did you have to pay any import duty?

    Looks nice by the way.

  10. It's v nice quality by the looks of it, only slight moan, but this is me being anal.. The Arrow badge riveted on the silencer isn't dead straight, concise fitting instructions with pictures included
Took 4 working days from dispatch to arrive at my door
No import duty to pay, won't be from European source

  11. I just had to fit it ! ...
I took my time, all in, probably an hours work
Had to slightly flare the end of the exhaust can to get it to fit the link pipe, not 100% sure where to tie the exhaust valve cable out of the way yet, but it's safe enough for now
The weight saving must be quite a few kilos
Apparantly Mr Muscle window cleans is recommended by quill exhausts for cleaning titanium, sure works well on carbon too !!
It sounds glorious, even with the baffle in, not got time to take the baffle out or test ride, should of been at the other halfs for tea an hour ago
To sum up for now, I'm well chuffed !!!

  12. Bloody hell! No messing about! :)
Looks great. Does it sound nice then?
I'll probably leave the baffle in.

I bet you've saved a fair bit of weight there?

  13. Am I right in thinking that with the valve cable disconnected the solenoid thinks it is opening and shutting the valve thus not causing a fault light?

  14. The valve is spring loaded, so with the cable disconnected if it don't feel tension on the cable it will put the light on, you can replicate the valve tension with a home made spring jobby on the cable or alternative buy a box off evilbay to fool it.

  15. It's comes with a roll pin that you clamp around the cable and then cable tie the cable to the inside of the right foot peg bracket.

Make sure you don't over bend the cable once cable tied or this may bring on the light.

    Andy

  16. Ah, I wondered what the roll pin was for, I'm sure there's no mention of it in the instructions
I don't like the idea of a thick black cable tie wrapped around my foot peg bracket, must be a neater way of sorting it
I take it your light hasn't come on then Andy ?

  17. They do mention the role pin or there's a photo showing it (I can't remember).

I left the cable hanging down and all was fine. I then secured the cable in what I thought was a really neat place but it then brought the light on That's when I cable tied it to the foot peg but I used a white tie and it's hardly noticeable.

Just make sure the open end of the cable is facing down so any water can drain away.

    Andy

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  18. Thank you Andy, that's a big help
I've fitted the roll pin over the cable & cable tied it quite discretely in place, after aprox a 5 mile ride earlier, no engine management light on : )

Next question, does the Works can have a removable baffle ? Judging by the website, it looks like the Gp2 silencer does, but not the works
Although there is a circlip & a little flap of metal that would need tapping back to remove the circlip
    [IMG]

  19. It looks the same as mine. Just bend that small metal tag up and it will just snap off. Then with a pair of circlip pliers remove the clip and with a pair of pliers and a rag twist the db killer out.

  20. You've not taken your db killer out then Andy ? I'm not sure it's ment to, or will come out
No mention of it being removeable on the Arrow web page as I said
Just suck it & see I suppose
