Fitted my termi system yesterday. Got to the last part and the carbon heat shield will not fit as the bracket has been welded on in the wrong place
when i called them to let them know, the parts man said i'd have to return the system and wait for another. if he thinks i'm taking it all off again he's got another thing coming. i told him if thats the case i'll take the lot off and you can have the bloody thing back!!
I had to file the holes a little bigger as the spacers wouldn't fit through the heat shield and then i had to put the bottom one in first and then the top rear one in,both just a couple of turns in and then i had to manipulate the shield to sort of line up with the top front hole then poked the bolt in and used the leverage of the allen key to line it up ,then tightened them up a few turns at a time and it sort of squashed into place ,then slacken each one off to make sure the spacer washer was sitting over the spacer nicely . It sure is a tight fit Only saying as from your photo the bracket looks in the same place
And that is the Termignoni well know quality! For those who question Akra. Ironically Ducati promoting in their FB page their Termignoni exhausts!!! You should post a reply with your pictures into that post then you might see how quick they reply!
I know it is disputable the size of the can and the position but, look how good the hyper looks with the wheel open and yes the Supercorsas SP' look sexy too
As long as you've got a 10mm ring spanner for the rear top manifold nut then it's not a bad exhaust to fit
i fitted the ones that were in the kit. i think they are from a panigale. it's close with the r&g, but there is a gap
