Guys, some of you may know me some of you may not. I'm on here now and again with info and questions for my hyper 796. I have PX the 796 for a 1098 streetfighter so will be moving over to that section. Thanks for all the help lads and will be sorely missed both the hyper and this page! I have loved them both but wanted to get the Hyper first then move upto the street fighter once a few years experience gained
I had a 1098 Streetfighter S - and it was mental, absolutely fantastic, you will love it!! Have you gone for the 848 or 1098?
I have went for the 1098 only because there was more available for sale and got one with only 2k miles on it.

Here is me with my new SF. Over the moon with it It's spent it's life in Saudi Arabia was owned by an oil worker so not seen any moisture until now!
Yep - same for me - if id have not gotten the hyper it would have been an sf1098. I would have bought one this time around but ive got my z1ooo which is pretty well the same kind of bike so went for the evo sp. You got the 1098 - definitely the right choice...something wrong with those pipes though...oh yeah, theyre standard....get em off...!
Haha I love the Z1000 also look nice with the AG racing pipes on them. Yes I am looking for termis but hoping someone on here will be selling some soon!
Cheers - ive owned it for about 18 months now and id say its the best all round bike ive had.... The Austin pipe is from my RSV4 (went straight on!). At the time I got the zed 1098s's were in the region of 9k + and I got this (at the time for 7.8k) so it was a no brainer as it was literally new....id like to say ill get a 1098 in the future but no idea when that will be as ive got the hyper now...

Not been stopped for it since ive had it (ill get knicked tomorrow now for sure)! But as you can see it would be pointless me owning a 1098 with that and based on the fact ive got the hyper (which has the L-Twin) motor...not ridden the hyper all week as is been off the road waiting for a Hel clutch line (which, just turned up) so ill be on it over the weekend at some point... When it comes to the plate I think (and this is my view) if you look after the bike, take care of it, keep it clean and wear clothing (protective) accordingly, don't run a noisy pipe and don't act like a twat when the traffic round you doesn't lend itself to that kind of riding then I think the plod will look the other direction... Just financially clearing the decks for the next couple of months then it marchesini time!
