  2. Yep limp home mode, ford love it, so put it on every fault to get you back to a dealer

  5. image.jpeg Overall very glad I went, lovely sound, lovely view :smileys: Took many pictures but viewing facilities are a long way back from the action these days so not many worth reprinting as only had my phone. Took about five videos as well! There was one rider who was noticeably quicker than most on a predominantly white Panigale with subtle red stripes, a real joy to watch but never got to find out who he was.

  6. Excellent day, 3 dry sessions before the rain came, which was better than the forecast led us to expect ... met up with some people, never thought to ask if they were from here, but whatever, nice folks having a good time

  7. Hear there were a few red flags this morning too, hope any fallers are ok and their wallets not too badly bruised

  8. Hi guys yes i was there great to put faces to names. Had 3 dry sessions and just started on the fourth but then the wet stuff arrived so that was it . But what a cracking day!

  9. Yeah was a good day, great track but a bit punishing on the 748 :) she decided she wasn't havin any of the wet stuff today and promptly died at the prod of the button :( Looks like social media was the order of the day in 3B :D

  11. A grand day out considering the scary forecasts. First session red flag with two riders down. I think it was perhaps a little green early on. The next 3 were splendid and nice and warm.

Met a few nice fellas and enjoyed a good old hoon on track. The little 899 did me proud yet again. Usual form goes out immaculate and comes back through torrential rain and royally mucked up:anguished:

And bonus got to see England win the footy with a nice coffee from the new style coffee stand in the restaurant.

All in all a splendid day:grinning:

    Until the next time Ducatisti:sunglasses:

  12. Gutted I couldn't be there today, but the nice people at CSS gave me a credit on my entry to use with them, so that's pretty cool considering I only cancelled yesterday. Was lovely and sunny here today, so I spent most of it looking out the office window wishing I was blasting around the track rather than staring at a laptop.
Half day of dry and half day of rain seems to be a common theme for Ducati track days this year
Hope you all had fun before the rain set in

  13. I wish they would do more than the 2, hopefully next year I will get there.

  14. I'm surprised they don't to be honest. They cost more than a normal track day and they fill up, so there's obviously money to be made

  15. That was bloody decent!
Wendy was actually bloody spot-on with me when I had to bail!

  16. Wicked day today, nice and chilled out with great atmosphere. Well worth going even though we only got the 3 sessions in!

  17. A bit late posting but was absolutely buggered by the time we arrived home, got the bike off the trailer and had a Dansak for tea. Really very enjoyable day and it was great that people came to find me :upyeah:. Had a 600 Pantah, an early something I didn't recognise, a 1000 Sport and a Superleggera in with an assortment of bikes in our garage. Significant number of Panigales on the day, a couple of Superleggeras and only one Desmocedici. On the down side, Carole put her back out humping stuff from the car before driefing so spent the rest of the day in pain but beng a trooper, she still weilded the paddock stand for me every session. Sat next to Paul Smart over lunch and got regailed with hilarious tales of racing in the 70s whilst noshing Chillie. Shame about the rain as we nearly got away with it but as said by everyone, great day. Andy

  18. Had a brilliant day, the 999 was superb with new rear shock in !!, tried some different tyre pressures as well in the M7RR's what a difference !! tyre wear was spot on to what I had before.
Only 5 bikes in our garage ! I think the Panigales must have been about 75% of all the bikes there. My only gripe was inters group was very busy, difficult to get a bit of clear track. Overall though great day and will be doing next year. :upyeah::upyeah:

  19. Was an awesome day, met a couple of you guys and had great fun on the track , 3 dry warm sessions was a bonus considering the forecast!! the two hours of heavy rain all the way home couldn't wipe the smile off my face... although like dukeman the state the bike got home in will require a good afternoon of elbow grease.. looks like its been shot at with a splatter mud gun

  20. I think a lot shied away due to the weather forecast, had it been a glorious sunny day I think it would have been a lot busier, loved the circuit huge and very fast I've no idea what's the correct line through Copse & Abbey think I found 3 apexes for each :D but Luffield's my new favourite corner, found the track was so wide it made passing pretty easy while allowing for the unpredictable behaviour of some :Wideyed: Some fantastic bikes there particularly Tim Watts' fluorescent matt yellow 899 JHP special with the Pierobon swinger  some awesome looking & sounding Superlegs, a "booming" new 1200 Monster and another Pani with the front exit Termis on F'ck me both sounded amazing but don't think they'll ever get on Brands Hatch :Stop: , a 748R with RedBull graphics that shot down pit straight but sounded like it was just bubbling along on tickover while I'm having to thrash the tits off my little bugger :Inpain: looks like Andyb's finally got shut of his old nail in favour of the latest greatest :Smug: , was a bit disappointed there weren't more older bikes there but will definitely do another one - Pani hunting it's a great hobby :upyeah:
