  7. OK Had her out for an hour and first thoughts compared to the 06 9s,
Brakes don't bite so sharply with little bar pressure but probably a pad thing, Its pretty unreal once they start to bite, crasy strong,
Bike feels very light and flickable (very like 9s) but around town it has a feeling that it wants to drop in rather quickly on bends(like its falling over), got used to it after 1/2 hour(9s doesn't do this) feels strange at first,
Handling is pretty awesome for sure,
As for motor, Its something special, stomp from no revs is great, better than expected,
One thing for sure is that the 9s need a quick action throttle kit, The difference is awesome,

So on first impressions I bloody luv this thing, the baffles are still in but there coming out

  8. I've owned one for 3 years now and love the thing. :)

You have a good start with the extras fitted. :upyeah:
    • Termi's (or Akra's) are a must -
    • Slipper clutch -
    • Tail tidy -
    For the mean look -
    • Carbon radiator end caps, exhaust guard, key guard and large air ducts (these look superb, but are pricey)
    Practicality
    • Evotech radiator & oil cooler guards (another must, I think)
    Aesthetics / Performance
    • I've also added - Ducati Performance seat, Evotech exhaust hangar to get rid of the rear pegs, Ohlins steering damper, Gilles rear sets, Gilles GT2 brake & clutch levers, Rizoma circuit mirrors, Ventureshield.

  9. I had o e, chucked it in for a new Tuono. The 1098 SF is the bike that I had the strongest connection with. I wish they'd build an update or new super naked.

    Enjoy.

  10. Mine was delivered yesterday too. Excuse the pic - as my wife took it and cares jot about bikes.
Wont get to see bike in flesh till next week as working away. Cant wait. delivered.jpg

  11. Mine's a standard not an S but I've blinged it up a bit. Belt covers and intakes are Lieb Speed from Steve at Conquest Carbon. They're not cheap but the quality is amazing.
I'd like to replace that gold clutch cover but I don't want an open clutch and I want as much crash protection as possible. Don't know what to go for.

  12. Nice bikes you have lads, Also good to hear what others think of them, I'm honestly delighted with it, Couldn't be happier,
PS, I need to get a rear paddock stand, Any out there that's good value for money? Bearing in mind ive not got much to through around at the moment

@Gimlet I had the carbon DP closed cover on my 9s and looked the part, was good quality but not sure how it would stand in an off.

  13. Avoid carbon clutch covers, they are useless in the event of a spill and serious engine damage can result. You need something with a bit of heft to it.

  14. a local company to me makes some awesome billet ones, check out giamoto

  15. @Gimlet - why not just spray original one dark?

  16. great yea,, super cool around town and falls into corners,, all good,,, but what about sitting in the gorilla position at 95 mph,,,,,

  17. They are fine, even at faster speeds :smileys:
