I had a go at it in the dyno today, compared to the shop dyno with OEM it delivers the same mid but broadens the range both up and down, some will say its hideous looking, technically its billiant no doubt! Needed a good wad of mapping though.
The sub 7k range is really useful! Is that the same as the under slung design or does it move the silencer locations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ill just ignore the previous answers and answer yours as its a good question. Its got the silencers located under the seat much like 1X98, so its a very different solution, looks a bit... lets say different, but its a race bike and customer wont mind as long as its performing well.
There area few on google images. They really need to close up the belly pan because the big space in front of the rear wheel there the original silencer was looks a bit funky.
Im going to do part throttle tomorrow so its still in the dyno, Ill take a few pics for the gentlemen.
Does mapping have an effect on reliability? I understand that emissions etc have an impact at factory settings, but just wondered.
Exactly.... It looks like is is partway through a rebuild and all of the parts haven't been put back on yet.
Like any mod you do you need to make sure else follows. Just making a new bellypan will do it. If that is too much then you wouldnt consider buying the zard in the first place? This customer wont mind doing that as he wants max power, Ill deliver it. Get irritated by it or learn, its up to you.
