There's a track day at brands on the 5th of July that I'm very tempted to book up depending on weather Just seeing if anyone else would like to join me or meet there
I might be tempted,if I can get the time off, do you know if you need leathers or not? never done a track day , I take it your doing it on a hyper chap?
Hiya cool would be good to meet up where abouts are you Not sure on leathers it would be my first track day too so I'm a newbie to it all And yep would be on the hyper
Recommend a read of the terms and conditions/faq of the track day organiser before booking to ensure you can comply .
Are you doing the whole day or just the evening? Fyi the evening will have a strict noise limit of 102db, can't recall the day db limit. On the day you'll need your license with you, and you must be wearing either one piece or two piece zip together leathers. If you're GoPro'ing then the camera MUST BE fixed to the bike only, and not yourself or your helmet! Cheers, Paul P.S. You'll love it!!!
Cheers for advice guys will be doing the whole day prob in novice as will be my first track day Got one piece leathers etc so all good And will put the baffle back into exhaust Anyone else joining in for the day I'll prob book it towards the end of next week just to see what the weathers doing Cheers
I'll be watching the weather as well. If it looks good and I can get time off then I'll be there as well! Cheers, Paul
booked brands on the 5th july me and my son I've just added a R1M to my bikes my son will be on his 899 so fingers crossed will be a good day BUT YOU CAN NEVER TELL WITH THE UK lol
Ah nice one I'm sure it will be a good day fingers crossed When did you book it? Do they normally sell out fast
Hi Dan, I don't think you can mate. But might be worth asking. However it might be prudent to look on Ebay - you can pick up some bargains there if you're lucky and if you need leathers!
Not the best video but here is one from my last experience at Brandshatch. My Front facing camera memory card failed - which was annoying...
Great video, shame you never had the front camera workin properly, either you looked really fast or everyone else wasn't very fast lol, looked like a damp track. Was it?
Hi Dan, A mixture of both aspects really. In our group there were some slow'ish riders and some fast as well. The groups were not well organised or monitored on the day I thought i.e. faster riders should've been moved up a group etc - I lap a few guys twice! lol The track was damp in places. But none of it bothered the Hypermotard and it's traction abilities. It was excellent fun! have fun!
