I've been stuck with governments I didn't want since about 1990. That's democracy for you. You have to make the best of it and move forward. At least now all the laws we live under can be decided by our own Parliament instead of just 48% of them. So everyone's vote will count more than ever. Young people haven't had their future taken from them, they've been given control of it. Its up to them (and everyone else) to shape it constructively.

Pound has been slowly rising since 0430 this morning. It will continue to rise, it's just fear and was fully expected. As for Farage stating not all the money will go back into the NHS, anyone pouncing on this wasn't listening. They said we could invest it in the NHS. The point is we can invest it into whatever we choose. The NHS will no doubt get some investment, as they now know that's what voters want. Those worrying about travel and movement throughout the EU, you will now need your passport and proof of intentions and right to be there. That's the way it should be, you're going to another country, not to the shops. You shouldn't have an immediate right to go live and work in another country. Mr Corbyn said voters had been let down by "successive governments". Winds me up... everyone forgets the damage labour have always done to this country financially. We then vote conservatives in, they get GBP back on the straight and narrow and then we go and vote labour back in to fuck it all up again. Madness! To them, it's all one big joke though - remember this! The former chief secretary to the Treasury, Liam Byrne, has reignited criticism of Labour's stewardship of the economy with a note for his successor which said "there's no money left".
I wonder how many of young London remain voters are children of immigrants. I understand their reasoning for voting remain, but they're very different reasons to why I voted leave, I did so for my kids, and their kids.
