They were new then. The amazing thing was it was an identical car using identical keys, parked in the exact same spot in the carpark, only on the wrong floor.
I've currently got TWO fully functional Marinas thank you Bet half the cars mentioned on here wouldn't still be going when they are nearly 40 years old!
It's weird isn't it? Many on here defend Ducatis- ( my mate said why you wanna get an unreliable Duke for??? ) etc etc But yet happy to turn! All I can say is my cars more reliable than my Duke! ( duke-one brake down-Marina none - and done many more miles )
I like cars but never really had much of an opportunity to do what I wanted with them, for various reasons. My first car was a Datsun 260Z that had a bit of work done to it. Wish I'd hung onto that. I'm now driving a Mark 5 GTi Golf that has been tuned (250hp) and I love it.
Actually its been decided that we are swapping the car soon so if anyone is interetsed in my A4 Avant shown on the first page of this thread speak now or for ever hold your peace
Well as she is doing more and more miles with work going to find a mile muncher. Quite fancy an A6 3.0 TDI Le Mans Quattro Avant amazing amount of car for the money 0-60 7 seconds and 150 mph!! She wanted a VW Toe rag! but MPG and RFL is silly
