British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  7. Wishful thinking from those who can't accept the result, and I think they underestimate the resolve of those who did vote for it.

  8. This is starting to sound like the plot of a Len Deighton novel...

The BBC bias towards Remain was balanced out by the Mail, Express and Sun bias towards leave.

    Pass the popcorn!

  11. I've just tried explaining to the Mrs what's going on at the moment, or more to the point what I 'think' is going on........ I simply can't

Whether you voted for remain or leave is now completely irrelevant.

What's abundantly clear for all to see now is just how ridiculously inept our government and opposition parties have become.

You've got a pm serving his notice away from the camera, the opposition party falling apart with 8 shadow cabinet gone already.

No clear vision of leadership for the conservatives, Lord Hesletine pointing towards a majority of 350 in the Commons unlikely to sign off a Brexit, Nicola Sturgeon suggesting a veto......it's just a fucking shambles

Firstly it's exposed them all for what they are and I think they know that, but either way I can't believe for one minute that nobody at all has planned for a result of leave?

I mean it was simply a 50/50 chance..... Flipping a fucking coin type odds.....how the hell can they all be running around headless with no plans?

Honestly, if this is what we've got to look at for leadership then I tell you what let's go eu the whole hog.

Sack the lot of them and we'll deal directly with Brussels
