as it says any guide to fitting gear indicator hyper 821 sp I've just bought a gipro one But now unsure of how to fit
Ok cheers will take a proper look when it arrives But does it also need a power supply or will the plug n play under the seat all sort it
Nothing else.... Just plug it in.... In fact just looking at getting one for my evo sp... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
Nice one cheers seems pretty simple even for me Guessing just take of one of the side fairings to route the cable
The only thing with them is they don't react to gear change quite as fast as a factory indicator... But much better than nothing... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
It needs 2 connections. One under the seat and the other is a power feed. fuae box under left hand fairing panel is the place to go as per the instructions. Easy job to remove that panel. Routing the gipro through the frame etc so it's concealed was the longest part.
Ah, right... No power feed on my zed.... Just plug in the diag port. Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
Yeah some bikes are just that. The 821 however needs a feed. As if Ducati would have made it simple!
Where did you route the power to? I know ask as I'll probably get one for my 1100... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
Yep just fitted mine Bit of a pig but all sorted The second red wire on the gipro just spilces into the red and black wire on fuse box
Found an ignition live at Fuse box and took it from there. I think the instructions mentioned to 'take power from fuse box' with no indication which wire.
