749s new owner , in process of buying 2003 749s , paid deposit , but read on internet the 2003 model was a bit troublesome !!! it only has 6300 miles on clock full history , am i in for headaches ?
Welcome aboard, good choice of bike, that's exactly what I have, its not been troublesome as I've upgraded things before they broke, in my budget I set per month, if you do nothing in the way of maintenance you expect to get a unbudgeted bill? First on your list should be:- Oil change Tps reset Chain tension or replace with 14/42 sprocket kit (makes cor much nicer ride) Suspension set up to your weight (approx. £50) Change the tyres out for YOUR type of riding, a wrong tyres for the wrong purpose makes a shite to ride.
