British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. It is a fact but how you chose to interpret that fact is open for debate. How come is is always the losing side that tries to claim those that didn't vote ?

  6. Free education
You come out of uni in debt to the tune £27k and you call that free!
Who are you in debted to then because you certainly aren't free you belong to someone else till that debt is paid

The younger generation will end up in debted to someone else or something else

What exactly have we ruined I hear the words but I don't see the reasons

  7. Pete1950 will probably correct me if I am wrong...........(that's assuming the Leave vote hasn't done his head in).........

..........but if there is a General Election before Article 50 is triggered; the new Government (regardless of which party wins it) does not have to implement anything that a previous government 'started' if the new government does not agree to the previous stuff.

  8. And you think that'll be different and everything will be transparent under a new regime?

    Interesting :)

  9. The EU vote isn't legally binding anyway. That said anyone in power now would be foolish to ignore it and just carry on.
Equally a general election gives everyone a 'get out of jail free' card. Including Boris as he is already undone pretty much everything he campaigned on. He doesn't want to be an EU member but wants all the benefits of it. Somehow i think that won't happen.

  10. yes of course,, want whatever you want,, but let us have what we want also,, after all it is our country,,, no personal " slag off " intended,, i thot that perhaps you were endorsing the article quoted ..

  11. I would like to hope so ET
This should shake up those who want to deal in secret
Let's hope a deal is negotiated that suits everyone not just some of us

  12. yes,, i earlier i had suggested something similar re the EU ref, in that Fr Sp Germany It etc had an input ( vote ) in that ,, might have been somewhat reflective of Eu opinion,,, especially after the timely humiliation and embrrasment of the english hooligans on the streets of Marsailles

  15. that is a very high price to be paying matey...maybe outweighing the value .. do you ever feel ripped off ??

  16. LOL say what you like about Farage he's no mealy mouthed politician.
He just reminded the EU parliament and commission that very few of them had ever done a proper job or created any jobs.
The boos and hisses that followed led to a rebuke from the head boy that the chamber should behave itself...
If it wasn't that these people are paid massive, unjustifiable salaries I would find it funny.

  17. An alternative source of funding? :p
