Are you saying Brexit will never happen, pete? I think that's my view to now. I'm certain no political party ( other than UKIP and we all know what sort of individual is in charge of that) and very few politicians have the stomach to see it through. There is also of course those who contribute towards the coffers of the main political parties and no doubt their opinion will hold a lot of sway too. Can anyone really see a mandate to sign Article 50 being approved by a majority in parliament in the near future?

That can't be right can it?
I suppose it all depends on the trade deal brokered. As echoed by Nigel Farage today, they would be mad to try and punish the UK, they need a tariff free deal more than we do. Also they have lost our net contribution (or will do once we leave), this has to impact. Subsidies to Romanian potato growers may have to be cut. Add in the uncertainty of it all and other states possibly going down the same route, it makes a bit of sense to me.
I watched it live this morning,and they appeared to edit the parts out where he was applauded. In my opinion he should lead the negotiating team on the UK's behalf. He appears to have no fear or apprehension whatsoever,and his single minded approach to getting us the best possible deal would stand us in good stead. Which is probably less than the margin of error in the forecast
She's going to make a fool of herself here. I can see her getting blanked at every turn and this is very poor judgement, but her desperation not to leave the EU is clouding her vision as she knows the Scots will never vote to rejoin once out with all of the caveats attached for doing so.
