  11. is that loose gravel ?? !!!!

  12. Yup done about 100 miles or so of that kind of surface as a complete off road novice ..... In at the deep end on a fully loaded tourer instead of 250 trail bike :)

One of the tracks today had freshly laid and graded loose gravel.... Was like riding on marbles with 2 flat tyres :D

  13. Liking the creative low ground road shot, bigyin. Is that Adam with you??

  15. Not the easiest thing I have done but after the initial "WTF am I doing" it is actually enjoyable once all the gubbins and TC are wound down using Enduro mode and even got to powering on and spinning up the rear a bit and feeling in control....hairpin descents on loose gravel are still an issue though I and wobbling round stood on the rear brake in 2nd.

The flat loose gravel roads were a doddle compared to todays little trip up Blaho mountain to the Jetta transmitter tower...5300 foot straight up on loose gravel and rocks. I have a video but will post up when I get back home next week but google throws up one from 2007 if you search "Blaho Norway"...I am on my phone so cant link it easily with limited signal

Gunz, Paddy, yeah I am over here with Adam, he sends his regards :)

  16. yea,, sounds like fun ,, i actually did q a lot of gravel in Spain this year,,,,,,, with a pillion,, on a Harley !!!! ( slow is the relevant term ;) )

  18. looks good,,,, and some proper roads !!

  19. Try this one :)

one of the highest viewpoints in Norway at the Jetta transmitter up Blaho mountain

I know its a 20 minute video but feel free to skip through as the last 10 minutes are the rock strewn climbs after sand and gravel.... full luggage on T30 Bridgestone road tyres with the bike set on Enduro mode and a lot of the time stood on the pegs as it was so lumpy

  20. excellent vid, fantastic road, brilliant experience, nice sunny day,,,, your lead out man sets a fair pace !!,,,not sure that i would want to be doing that so far from home on a road bike which still has to take me over a thousand miles to get home !!!
