Bike Wrapping.. a 1098 in Corse Colours

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by jangol, Oct 28, 2012.

  1. Thinking about getting my 1098 wrapped in the colours of Ducati Corse...

    Can anyone recommend anyone?

    Good Idea...?

    Cheers

  2. Have you tried Ducati?

  3. Had my track bike wrapped in my company colours. Looks ok in the picture but close up not fantastic. Hardy Signs in Burton did it. But I agree with Tel go to ducati View attachment 7451

  4. All Ducati will do is sub it to a 3rd party and add some mark up, Ducati don't wrap bikes

  5. 01 Race FX have an excellent reputation. Google them but they're Leeds ish area I think.

  6. Troy what did it cost to get it wrapped??

  7. £400 cash

  8. 110% recommend 01RaceFX, they did my 848 and can do some seriously impressive work. They specialise in bikes and big on the road race scene. They're sound blokes too.

However if you go with them it quite possibly won't look like the Corse scheme as you'll get carried away with ideas.

  9. Cheers 1490,

Just need to keep the cost down :( had a look on their website ... very nice stuff, just might be a bit out of my budget...

    Will bear them in mind?

  10. I had a partial wrap and it was £230 including everything, design, print/cut and fitting.....it's much much cheaper than paint, and in my personal opinion the possibilities, for more intricate designs and general trick bits, are much more vast.

  11. I was gonna get mine wrapped for Christmas....but decided it would be a waste of paper in the end.

  14. This months Superbike mag shows John Hogans 848 Evo wrapped in some snazzy colours. Cant remember the name of the company, and cant check cos I gave the mag to a mate.

Im sure thats really helped

  15. Sorry to hear it's so costly. Cant be much better here in the states. I'll check on prices here. If it's cheap enough I want a "Flopped on both sides" wrap just for fun. I'm sure it should be cheaper than the real thing.

  16. Image works near Ilkeston in Derbyshire, Just off M1 at J26/25.

Had a few bikes done here, great job and cheaper than paint work. Can easily be swapped when you fancy a change.
