I'll be honest, I think things are starting to look and feel like they're going the right direction. The markets were always going to be shaky immediately after the vote, how could they not have been. Also in regards to currency drops you simply can't get a view of it over such a short time period, yes the £ vs $ has dropped considerably but that'll bounce back. The £ vs € is lower than early 2016 and most of 2015, but still on par or better than 2011-2014 in most months, as such things need looking at from a wider perspective. In regards to the political mess I'm actually glad Boris isn't running as frankly he's no Country leader, Gove may have said a few decent things during the campaign (some not so decent) but again I'm not convinced he's the man. May however I'm fairly happy with, yes she was 'apparently' Remain, but she's also taken the most neutral position and seems to be the strongest front man / woman we have got. More and more nations are coming out in support of the Brexit, or at least in support of future trade deals with the UK. The more that happens the stronger the UK's position becomes as ultimately there's only so much business a country can do And so if the EU nations we trade with wish to keep their previous slice of the pie guaranteed (they'll not want it carving up amongst the rest of the world) then I'm fairly sure you'll see their views soften. At the moment the EU is attempting damage limitation and trying to stop further referendums from happening, I get that. Don't be at all surprised if we get a tweaked 'free movement' rolled out across the EU very soon as I think the penny is dropping on the eurocrats. Very soon you'll see Merkel and May (hopefully) being very good buddies, with a bit of luck Junker will be forced out but it'll be shown as he's retiring How's that for a forecast Oh and finm, don't fret, Scotland will be fine because the UK will be fine. Hold your next referendum for the next 5 years and see how it's going then
thats one of them LONG standing BLACK houses init? how many analogies could i make with that i wonder?:smileys:
The next person we need to get rid of.... Trump floats idea of using NATO in fight against Islamic State| Reuters Maybe just as well Labour couldnt organise a p1ss up in a brewery at the moment. Some strong leadership required. Cant imagine Corbyn standing up to idiots like this ^^
