  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  4. Which means she holds the same view as the leader of the opposition but for opposite reasons, but her party’s view of this view is the opposite of the opposition’s. And the opposition aren’t yet opposing anything because the leader isn’t listening to his party, who aren’t listening to the country, who aren’t listening to experts or possibly paying that much attention at all. However, none of their opponents actually want to be the one to do the thing that the vote was about, so there’s not yet anything actually on the table to oppose anyway. And if no one ever does do the thing that most people asked them to do, it will be undemocratic and if any one ever does do it, it will be awful.

  5. Does it really say "rulesbased" written as a single word? If so that's the most frightening thing in the text. It's classic Newspeak and we all know where that leads.

  6. Is it "Islington"? Is that where it leads?

  15. I discovered today that The Haven cafe (formerly the Hilltop) outside Salisbury has lost two of its team this week following the Referendum, both European, both felt unwelcome following the result and the rising level of intolerance and ignorance they have faced from the public over the past 7 days. I was ashamed of my country when I heard that, the cafe owner is noticeably upset as are many of the regulars.

For anyone to come on here and pretend the referendum wasn't fought and won on spurious immigration scare stories is either deluding themselves or an outright liar.

If you are one of those people and you don't think you're delusional then you are a liar.

  16. i wasnt messing when i said one of customers broke down in my workshop. i have a v.good relationship with most of my customers. they come in for the craic as much as anything else. god i felt for him that day. we all know not every brexiter (far from it i am sure) is deranged. but the ones that are feel justified and empowered because of the majority vote. but what can you do? the was reff was called.
    what ever happened to leveson?

  17. All careers must end at some point. Are all ex-surgeons, ex-policemen, and ex-bricklayers also "failures"? Yes, in the sense that the retired persons have failed to continue with their careers. That does not mean that it is reasonable to sneer at anyone whose career has ended and ignore the advice they offer based on their experience.

  18. Strong words, and I understand why, because unfortunately I do think there is an upsurge of racism. If I was an immigrant worker here I think I'd be feeling pretty uncomfortable right now. The closet racists and the fearful seem to need to scapegoat. It's like they need to create demons to blame because of their feelings of life being out of control. But your accusation that out voters are deluded liars I can't align with because I don't think it's that simple. If, as you say, the only real agenda was immigration then fear for the future (i.e. wanting to tighten immigration control) and wanting to remove indigenous immigrants are, in my mind, very separate things. I'm sure some small minded people will think it's a good thing that these people left but that's not what 17 million people voted for.

  19. We have a few hundred Polish workers at out factory - all have been made very aware they are more than welcome and reassured as such by the company following the referendum, as they are the life blood of our company. Many have been promoted through the ranks too. You cannot blame a few idiots and tie 17 million people with the same brush. I am not delusional or a liar and stand by my convictions that the EU is a faltering project and needed a wake up call. Immigration was low on my list of reasons, but I do feel we needed some level of control in the years to come purely due to the size of our Nation. I have family in the Czech republic and a business that imports from the USA and sells throughout Europe so if the remain stories were to be shown to be true I had much to loose personally and deemed it worthwhile overall for the benefit of the general populations of all European countries and further afield. As a whole the way the European Union works with it's trade can equally be called a 'racist culture' I feel we can now build on something better as a nation with a more global approach. I have had relationships and have many friends throughout Europe and dismiss your comments totally, sad though if some people are now feeling this way due to idiots comments and actions. I believe the thing that tipped the balance of the vote was the way people were treat by the 'elite remainers / government officials' who's scare stories far outweighed the leave campaigns without which the vote could have been even more emphatic for 'leave'. I am one of the 17 million and I could never be deemed a racist or a liar. Yours is just one opinion and you are welcome to it.

  20. I am not going to defend anyone who abuses migrants, or anyone else, in this country, however immigration was, and is, a legitimate cause for concern and one for which I am certainly not going to apologise.

No doubt if those who voted Leave solely on the grounds of immigration had done otherwise the result probably would have gone the other way, but equally if those who had voted Remain on the basis of Project Fear and spurious tales of economic catastrophe had voted the other way it would have been a landslide for the Leave campaign.

You lost, get used to it.
