Been looking for a Benelli 1130, and have been offered a straight swop for an absolute minter. I know the R is appreciating slowly and the Benelli the other way. But I don't have bikes for value gain. However, I would get good value selling the 749R and then buying said Benelli rather than a swop. But everytime I get a good offer, just cant do it...unless an offer over 7K. Maybe the bike is telling me something!
i regret selling my 749r, they are so much more special than a 999r the buyer broke my bike and sold it it parts
The bike is prone to self harm when left alone too long...they are Maxxis Diamond tyres...thought I would try them out.
My mate tried them on his blade and hated them - said they appeared to wonder at full lean. Have you tried them out yet?
As a road tyre I find them perfectly fine, even at lean...remember your mate is riding a Blade, probably the bike!
Don't do it Chris, you will bitterly regret it ,whether you have bikes for Gain value or not, i know which I would prefer in my garage between a 749R and a Benelli... Ps...and BTW I would say £7K is a low estimate looking at the ones currently for sale at dealers.
