My job is an accountant. I see and listen to a lot of what I am told. Many clients were already quiet running up to 23 June. Now they are quieter still. Some trade with the EU, some with the USA. At the moment many are considering what to do next.
My stepson is an accountant............. I was once going through the Yellow Pages looking for 'Engineers (Boring)'.......... ..............then I realised that should be 'Accountants (Boring)'...............
Experts. They can tell you everything you need to know about the inside of a drop of water, and feck-all about the water cycle.
All i read from the Out crowd is insults, piss-taking(not in a jesting way) and nothing in the way of constructive comments as to the future.
That seems like a very sensible approach from your clients. Assess the situation Weigh up the options Plan various strategies depending on the Gov'ts exit plan Make a reasoned decision on what to do with your buisness based on the final outcome of Brexit and terms of trade with the EU. Where as your plan seems to be Shout as loud as you can about the UK being doomed on an internet forum with no basis in fact and providing no evidence. Do you provide advice to your clients :Nailbiting: or just crunch their numbers for them? :Wideyed:
I think he meant they had very little work on. And now they have even less. Which is not sensible at all.
Indeed, but the point here is that uncertainty has been vastly increased, and does not look likely to be reduced any time soon. It has become much more difficult to make a reasoned decision on what to do. Borrow to invest; or sell assets to reduce debt? Risk launching new products; or batten down the hatches and retrench? I don't envy anyone trying to make decisions amid the current confusion.
Presumably those that position are remunerated according to the responsibility and impact of the decisions they are paid to take , or are they stepping down and handing back the corporate salaries now it's got a little tougher. ?
