  1. Leaving Silverstone on the Stowe road. Totally smoked me on 996.

  2. the bu**er

  3. You must have been going well under the speed limit then ;)

  4. Tyres were cold.
Tyres were still on about 60mls from new so still breaking in.
Just had handling done so was getting used to it.
    Don't know the road.
Slowed down when I saw a bike in my mirrors as I'm always paranoid when someone catches me as it doesn't happen very often.
    (I have loads of excuses).

  5. More excuses than a racer. Did you develop a temporary misfire too? [emoji6]

  6. Funny enough, I went and spoke to a tuner about getting the fuelling sorting on the way home!

  7. Similar thing happened to me on Tuesday, but it was only an SV650, my excuse was the 999 was only running on 1 cylinder, still did 70 easily enough and he was on the tank.

  8. On the tank you say? You sure it wasn't a she? ;)

  9. And he hit a false neutral :)

  10. Oh

  11. Exige, I am wondering how the rider manages to stay on the tank.

Never seen an SV650 without crash bobbins, even this bike has them?
