Tightening nuts, bolts and screws

  1. Pisses me right off, all the majors appear to use cheap an nasty fasteners on their bikes, not just Ducti.
    My brother is presently changing all on his Beamer... They started going rusty after just a few months....:rolleyes:

    As for loctite... You ever tried taking a 848/1098 mirror extension screw out? You'd wish the stuff had never been invented! :mad:

    It's not supposed to be applied like glue!

    Mirror extenders.....I don't know :rolleyes:

  3. My thoughts exactly mate.... The "glue" was stronger than the the bloody cheap and nasty screw!

  7. Anth and I could bore you stupid re the Duc "performance" mirrors....:rolleyes: If you buy any you'll also need solder, soldering iron, crimp tool a skilled friend/relation and therapy!
