Sitting in a Penthouse apartment directly opposite Canary Wharf.Got 4 days here courtesy of lovely Mother in Law who paid for it as a birthday present.The views are superb and so was the steak and guiness pie just eaten at the pub round the corner.Left son at home looking after everything-hope he hasn't trashed the place and sold the bike!!

 

My 6 weekly chemo appointment today (been going since June 2010)

Hope all went well. Would have commented yesterday but was having problems with tinternet!

Had an interview on Tues, another yesterday, hardly any work since the end of August??

Last few days have been quite busy! What with caring for the patient, clearing the area for the mancave(2 trees down and 1 cut up so far) and today helping step son with trying to raise the suspension on his car for the MOT ( 1 side done ok, the other refusing to play ball!)

 

I did my tax return during the week and got a very pleasant shock at my return size. Today, I've been looking at racebike costs and racing costs in Australia in general. The thinking cap is back on and plans are hatching... Hopefully I'll be racing with BEARS in a few months time! Woooo!

 

Just cycled along the Thames tow path from Shepperton to Staines, had a haircut and cycled back. All in brilliant sunshine and fine cold weather. If this keeps up the Multi will be out later. Perfik!!

 

Coffee with some mates this morning and was about to take the bike out, when it started pi**ing down with rain (and I'd just put my washing out!)
Thanks for the kind comments from my recent post; it is so much part of my life now, that I forget the effect it can have on other people. . . . . .having a health "hiccup" just focuses attention on enjoying life.

Stripped the fairings off the 1098s, good clean and check over after getting her last week.

So far just found a lose side stand bolt, the exhaust needs a good polish, but otherwise very happy so far

Soooooo much easier to get the fairings off than the cbr1000rr puzzle

 

just eaten my first mince pie if the season - I don't really like mince pies
