  5. Hey Yev, yeah, like a thief in the night, eh ? Mine is No.447. I love it, it's a truly great bike.

  6. This bike (and the 1198S Corse Limited Edition) they have on their website are mine. I was going to sell them but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I only bought the 1098S Tricolore at end of last year as I really wanted one when they were new. Actually, despite what it says on their listing, it isn't new at all, it has 1,500 miles on it.

I have a load of DP Carbon stuff to fit when I'm next in the UK as well as a new 70mm Termignoni manifold I managed to find. I'm looking forward to getting it to Italy !

  7. so do those guys actually have your bikes? or do they just have pics from you?
    always wondered how they work

  8. 132 is mine. and yes, i love it as well.

  9. hahaha. both bike are now showing as SOLD . are they actually sold or have they just got bored?

  10. You simply send your bikes there on SOR. If they sell them, they take a commission. If not, you just take them back with no charge. The service they offer is fine but I think the prices are optimistic.

They took the photographs and do all the work.

No, they are not sold. They are in my possession back in the UK. As I said, I simply couldn't sell them. I don't need the money, although the Missus keeps complaining that I have "too much rubbish and can't you get rid of some of it". I'm glad I've kept them, I'd have really missed them had they been sold.

  11. It's lines like that that keep me coming back. :D

  12. i always wondered how the fuck they manage to get such high prices for bikes advertised there as they are always sell in the end. now it is clear- people just get bored with them and take bikes back and they mark them as sold... that's all

  13. And by pretending they sold - they drive the market. After all, they must sell some of them as they have been on the go a while now as an extension of their car business. They have a lot of full page ads in a few of the mags and a posh show room which all come at a huge cost.
But did you say the Baylis was yours and you have it back - as someone on here bought it from them a month or so ago?

  14. I didn't say such a thing. My Baylis is not for sale

  15. No, Flyer47?

  16. Are you giving it away :Wideyed: my new found political ambitions are up for a free trade, mind you I only have Finm and 6GR as followers so far - they may be worth it though :Finger:

  17. Hi Exige, I never put the Bayliss up for sale. It was my 1098S Tricolore and 1198S Corse but I decided I really didn't want to sell them.

I will never sell the Bayliss, hopefully !

  18. let me translate their ad for everyone:
Brand NEW bonneville for sale ( with only 1500 miles on it).
we dont actually own it , we just like to shuffle a bit of paper on the desk and make a massive mark up.
and we want £80K for it, but to make people call we just advertise it for £80 quids

    simple!
